Karin Leiderman

I am an associate professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Colorado School of Mines.

 

My areas of research include:

  • Mathematical modeling of biochemical systems
  • Biological fluid dynamics
  • Numerical methods for low Reynolds number flows

Current research projects address the following:

  • Blood coagulation and platelet aggregation under flow
  • Understanding variability in bleeding phenotypes
  • Uncertainty quantification in blood coagulation models
  • Microorganism motility in viscous fluids
