Karin Leiderman
I am an associate professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Colorado School of Mines.
My areas of research include:
- Mathematical modeling of biochemical systems
- Biological fluid dynamics
- Numerical methods for low Reynolds number flows
Current research projects address the following:
- Blood coagulation and platelet aggregation under flow
- Understanding variability in bleeding phenotypes
- Uncertainty quantification in blood coagulation models
- Microorganism motility in viscous fluids
