This year, the AMS department, in collaboration with Mines Foundation, organized the first annual AMS Alumni Event. We extend our sincere gratitude to all attendees and to the Foundation for their support. Department Head Dr. Gus Greivel began the evening by providing insights into the expansion of our undergraduate program, while our Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Soutir Bandyopadhyay discussed the growth and development of the AMS graduate program. For the remainder of the event, attendees ranging from 1977 alumni to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff mingled in the Blaster Hospitality Room within the Marv Kay Stadium.
